The House of St Barnabas
The House of St Barnabas charity was founded over 160 years ago, to meet the needs of homeless and disadvantaged people and help to bring positive change in their lives. Housed in a magnificent Georgian property, it is one of the oldest buildings in Soho Square.
In September 2009, in conjunction with The Quintessentially Foundation, Russell Sage Studio adapted the space into a not-for-profit private members’ club and restaurant. The aim is to provide training and work-experience opportunities as well as raise revenue for the charity, which to date exceeds £1M.
"Designed by London fashion designer turned interior designer, Russell Sage, The House of St Barnabas has been turned into the kind of place that is hard to leave."
